Does anybody else think it is ludicrous that City spend £25 mil on a player who barely appeared at the World Cup. It just drives the price up for everyone.
Not getting in that Spanish team is hardly a reason to say someone isn't worth a lot. Fabregas hardly played and he is easy worth £25 mil. If a player wasn't a first teamer in the French, Italian or English side fair enough but the spanish was some side to get into.
So far really all we have had is a lot of talk not a lot of movement
my point is if he is worth that much how much is the likes of Messi or Xavi worth
Silva is a decent player. He just didn't fit in to a magnificent set up.
What a great idea read this

Joe Cole to Liverpool better than I thought we could attract this year with no Champions League
And you got him. Terrific deal for the reds a current international who is only 28 on a free transfer. Good business if you ask me.
It makes my point if Cole can be got on a free then its silly to be paying £25 MIL for Silva
things are looking good with Gerrard staying now as well
Now they are going to £25 mil or more on Milner. Its crazy.
You have to give it to the french banning the whole squad is brilliant
it does have style to take the whole squad out
now I agree it is ridiculous with city actually thinking about £70 mil for Torres & prepared to pay players £200,000 a week
if I won £200 grand I would think I was luckiest person on the planet
it seems like City are the only team buying anyone for big money
Arsenal, Utd, Chelsea seem quiet
Masch leaving is the worse news Lpool have had this summer
Everyone is quiet except City
I think Luke Young is a good buy for Liverpool
so do I and I'm glad Hughes is back in management I thought City treated him real bad
You would think Sparky had enough stress but he wants to sign Bellamy again now
Good player but hard work
Young not going to Anfield cannot believe he is on £2 mil a year
