Who thinks Futsal develops players better than anything else.

Speed of movement & thought. Play under pressure. Play positively.

Great tool to make great players.

I think Futsal is brilliant and certainly encourages all the attributes you mentioned.

Interestingly I read a great article this week that said Futsal is an attempt to provide traditional street football in an indoor environment and so obviously similar benefits can come from playing with a normal ball outside. I don't disagree with this but it doesn't change the fact Futsal provides a terrific environment for talent to flourish.

For me playing time is the key. For a young player to develop they must play as often as they can and so traditional street football which had no time limit and usually not much space to play in provided a terrific environment too.

I like to hear what other coaches think of Futsal.

I think futsol is fantastic and its easy to spot kids who play it a bunch as they are just so easy on the ball

Did anyone see the recent Futsal World Cup.

The cruelest own goal ever by an Italian guy which knocked them out of the semi final with 1 second to go.

I saw that goal I was gutted for him. Foglia was his name wasn't it. So unlucky.

I train lots of teams using futsal balls as well. With most teams I do an indoor session.

My team plays Futsal out of season and we do one session a week indoor with futsal balls

It makes a huge difference to them

Could someone give me some help.

I am coaching an U-13 State team and have a few players who still rotate poorly. I am trying to make their training as fresh as possible every session because I feel they have had a long season and are getting a bit jaded. Does anyone have any ideas for a different practice I could do to promote rotation amongst the players. Remember it has to be something involving everyone and fun too if possible.

Send to info@footballtricks.com if too hard to return in forum
